RAAF Darwin Modular Project

The RAAF Darwin Modular Project was a collaboration between our client, the Department of Defence and DJC Build for the construction of 50 modular coldroom panel buildings for the Defence Darwin onsite living expansion program. We worked closely with local architect Gabbert Design on the design phase of the project, leading to the installation of the modular buildings at RAAF Darwin, designed to enhance the living accommodations for defence personnel. Our expertise in modular construction ensured that the buildings were completed efficiently and met the high standards required for such a critical defence infrastructure project. 

The project was completed 3 months ahead of schedule, with exceptional quality finishes. This outstanding performance led to DJC Build being awarded a subsequent package as a variation, involving the installation of an additional 28 modular buildings at RAAF Tindal bringing the total value of the project and variation to $13M. The success of the RAAF Darwin Modular Project highlights our capability in delivering complex modular construction projects on time and to the highest standards.
