Darwin
Our establishment in the Darwin Region is attributed to the unwavering support of our customers and team members, alongside Director Damien's visionary leadership, establishing DJC Build as the preferred builder across diverse industry sectors.
In early 2024, driven by our commitment to expansion, Damien acquired land in the Humpty Doo Industrial area to develop a purpose-built facility, complete with a 1000 sqm shed and office. This strategic move has enabled the expansion of our service offerings and provides ample space for a larger office and logistical base, enhancing our ability to serve remote communities across the Territory.
The new premise is designed with a corner block layout to facilitate easy truck accessibility, complemented by dual access gates that ensure minimal operational risk and uninterrupted service delivery. The facility compliments our modular construction capabilities allowing clients to engage with our team throughout their build, from initial design to final finishes, with the opportunity to inspect their modular buildings before disassembly and transportation to the site.
We can seamlessly deliver our comprehensive services from the Darwin Region to every corner of the Northern Territory.
Nhulunbuy
A pivotal aspect that sets DJC apart is our dual presence as local contractors in both Darwin and Nhulunbuy Regions.
This strategic positioning underscores our understanding of local dynamics, and also facilitates superior project outcomes and community engagement with full time staff, equipment and plant ready to mobilise directly from Gove to site or surrounding communities in the East or West Arnhem Regions.
Since expanding our operations to include Nhulunbuy Region in 2020, we have endeavoured to familiarise ourselves with the unique landscape of this area, to establish a lasting presence, and grow our Indigenous Development strategic objective.
We have setup various premises to solidify our commitment to delivering exceptional services in the region including acquiring 8 Miller close in Nhulunbuy industrial area encompassing accommodation, office space, shed space of 1000sqm including an outside storage area. This yard was specifically purchased to enable our team to deliver larger project works, service ongoing mining operations, fabricating directly from the region, including modular fabrication, in turn resulting in capacity building of local subcontractors and suppliers and cementing our long-term establishment to the community.
